dr.organic Organic Snail Gel Collection | Trial Information

Hey guys!

So the Company 'dr.organic' has sent me six products from their gorgeous new range containing organic snail gel.

When I first saw the packaging I was a bit nervous.. I mean, SNAIL gel in my facial products but after reading up on the ingredient, it's actually supposed to be so beneficial for your skin and have LOADS of anti-aging benefits.

The Brand

Dr Organic is a brand which is, clearly, an all organic brand. They are 'committed to creating unique, natural products' which give you a beautifully cared for look about your skin without harsh chemicals and additives. They use a lot of Aloe Vera and organic plant oils, butters and extracts as well.

Dr Organic already had a Organic Snail Gel in it's product line and the customer demand increased so much that they brought out these five other products that I will be trialing alongside the gel.

Celebrities such as Britney Spears, Ashley Roberts and Kimberely Wyatt (former PussyCat Dolls) and Kara Tointon all follow this signature line and now you can too.

The Products

The New Snail Gel range contains an ingredient called 'Helix Aspersa Muller', which is what snails use to regenerate it's own shell and skin when it's damaged. They've taken this and blended it with their own blend of natural bio-active ingredients it will hydrate, smooth and firm your skin.

But why snails?

Snail farmers in Chile noticed that after days of handling these critters that their hands where incredibly soft, and fast healing. The mad scientists in labs then took this and ran with it. Their secretions (the snail's, not the scientists) contained  high levels of allantoin, collagen, elastin and anti-bacterial substances. These are all great on human skin for soothing and purifying effects.

Key Components

Glycolic Acid - Snail Gel has the right concentration of Glycolic Acid to produce a gentle elimination of superficial dead skin cells, and to help promote their replacement with new cells, formed using the stimulus of Allantoin.

Allantoin - It has been proven that this is a stimulant for skin regeneration, also effective for healing, smoothing and anti-irritation.

Collagen and Elsatin - These are structural proteins that bond skin tissue, nurture skin and improve its appearance. It is also known to be particularly effective for skin repair.

Proteins and Vitamins - Contribute to the constant regeneration of skin whilst also acting as an anti-inflammatory agents.

Natural Antibiotics - Protective Substances which help fight against infections and prevent further breakouts.

Christmas Jumper Competition | Bon Prix

Hello and welcome back to my blog!
Today's post is inspired by the blogger competition that Bon Prix are holding this Christmas. The competition is to design a Christmas Jumper outfit inspired by their 'evolution of Christmas Jumpers' - which I must say is pretty funny. teehee.
So here's mine..
(All products linked down below - along with Bon Prix's website)

So here is my chosen Christmas outfit.. I'm keeping it stylish in the monochrome but still a little bit festive with Bon Prix's beeeautiful longline Christmas jumper which has this lovely stag on the front. All items are from Bon Prix's website - this wasn't a rule but I found the perfect items I was looking for on the site, so why wonder off?

I've paired this Longline Christmas Jumper (£14.99) with this cute little white patterned oxford shirt (£12.99). I love the collared look so the contrast of the dark jumper with the white collar is a definite go there for me.

Next I have this layered upon the Stretchy Faux Leather Leggings (29.99) for a bit of edge really, hey - punk rockers can enjoy Christmas too!

Finish this off with a pair of white Patent Boots (£34.99), the Stripey Side Shopper handbag (how lush is that??) (£29.99) and don't forget the Black Ribbed Beanie - because It is getting cold outside. You can always swap it for a Santa hat too!
