Highlighting and Contouring | Everyday Make Up

Highlighting and contouring are two methods that are often skipped, but if done correctly they're pretty powerful. They can make your face look more symmetrical, both accentuate and downplay your features and generally define and brighten your face. If you've ever taken an art lesson, the same principles apply here. Adding shadows makes things look farther away, adding reflective, light areas makes something look closer.
